DIY house RENOVATION journey | 123 year old miners cottage in Newcastle

Hey everyone, welcome home!

Today we're back with Ami in the area of North Tyneside near Newcastle, to follow along with the journey of Nicola, who is renovating her 123 year old, miners cottage just outside of the city.

Nicola has been the true pinnacle of inspiration so far in hearing her renovation journey. It seems journeys like this are never straight forward - and she's definitely had a few obstacles thrown her way, such as a flea infestation right in the beginning!

Her and her dad have been super hands-on and have done much of the work to achieve the progress she's made so far and she's aiming to do, where possible, everything else that still needs to be done. A true inspiration of 'DIY-ing' your own house project!

She's had so many savvy finds in terms of 2nd hand bathroom, kitchen and original Victorian features to really transform her home along the way - a true bargain-hunter and the results even in these early stages are simply incredible!

We're all so excited to see this home in all it's finished glory when she gets there and how she truly maximises the space. For now, follow along this amazing reno journey and I'll be sharing Nicola's progress into the next stage!
