Kilcorney Graveyard And Its Healing Priest: Fr John O'Mullane | Duhallow Graveyard Stories

As part of IRD Duhallow’s #HeritageWeek2024 event, IRD Duhallow is delighted to present a compelling recording which will be of interest to many people living in Kilcorney, the Duhallow region and beyond. The recording in question relates to Fr. John O’Mullane, whose burial place is reputed to be a healing grave. This grave is beautifully attended and on Good Friday is visited and prayed at by people looking for the intercession of the priest. Here Dan Joe O’Keeffe delivers a very interesting account of the life and times of Fr. O’Mullane, detailing some of the complexities of his life and how his final resting place came to be Old Kilcorney graveyard.
