Step Inside Indonesia's Chicken Church | Atlas Obscura

In the middle of the forests of Magelang, Indonesia sits Gereja Ayam, a massive building shaped like a chicken. It opened its doors in the 1990s as a prayer house, but was abandoned in 2000 and left to molder in the forest. Recently it's been rehabilitated into an art gallery and cafe.
