Uttarakhand is a land of many possibilities, it has got vast topological variations in its geography. Here we have mountain clad with snow as well as we have plain areas in Haridwar, Dehradun and Udham singh nagar. Haridwar is famous for its kumbh mela , which is organized every 12 years. Presently this vast topological variations has become a problem for this Himalayan state but it can be converted into a boon, if systematic planning can be carried out. For carrying out systematic planning we need to take into consideration, what are the strength of this state. Uttarakhand has natural clean environment, pollition free air, 70 percent area is covered with forest, major rivers like ganga, yamuna, nayar, ramganga etc flows from this state. Uttarakhand has vast potential to be an organic state just like sikkim has become 100 percent organic state. In addition to being an organic state, there are possibility of promotion of horticulture crops, like medicinal crops, aromatic plants, plants which grows off season as compared to the plain areas.

The government of Uttarakhand can also consider, carrying out the survey of various blocks and educate the farmers which crop can be grown for the best results and monetary benefits to the farmers. Uttarakhand can make plans for wellness tourism, health tourism, Yoga tourism. Uttarakhand government must make plans to promote healthy living culture with emphasis of it in tourism sector.

Uttarakhand food must be promoted by the government as a complete and healthy food for its tourists visiting Uttarakhand. Its various tourist places like kedarnath, badrinath, gangotri, yamunotri must serve local uttarakhand cuisine. There is no cultural display of Uttarakhand. Govt must promote establishing cultural centers of uttarakhand in major cities like Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Mussorie, Laindown, Haldwani and Kotdwar.

Uttarakhand is called as land of gods, devbhumi, accordingly tourist guides must be trained, who can tell about history of Uttarakhand to the Tourist. Uttarakhand has three major entry points. By road, it is through Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Kotdwar, Haldwani. All the major entry point must have tourist centers, where all the information about the Uttarakhand can be provided, like list of tourist places, hotels over there, List of Pandas in Haridwar.
