My Dad Collected Case Knives (acoustic version with lyrics)

Описание к видео My Dad Collected Case Knives (acoustic version with lyrics)

I had been considering re-releasing this song acoustically for some time and had been asked several times why the first video didn't include lyrics. At the time I made that video I didn't have access to the tools to make a lyric video. Now, I do, thanks to CapCut. If you want to make your own video I highly recommend checking them out.
We all see the clock ticking away and understand that death is always with us. We all understand how the story ends, and yet, we are all somehow still totally unprepared for the overwhelming impact of that final separation. You can fortify your soul, strengthen your body, and sharpen your mind and still not be ready for that final blow.
A stone tossed into the water makes a splash and sends ripples in all directions. The bigger the stone, the mightier the splash. Part of the price we pay for our loss is enduring those ripples. It's hard, but there is beauty and solace to be found when we observe and share with the others enduring those waves.
My Father was a good man and he made many ripples.
He was a life long knife trader. He loved it dearly. A Case Cheetah was his spirit animal. His Dad was a Congress man. I'm partial to Copperheads myself, but the most important thing to me has always been how happy collecting, trading, and talking about Case knives made him.
It was a good life.
