Kata - SHUSHI NO KON - Matayoshi Kobudo

This is the first and most fundamental Bo Kata in the Matayoshi system. Many versions of this kata exist in many different styles, including different names, Shushi no Kon Sho, Shushi no Kon Dai, and sometimes called Shuji rather than Shushi.

By studying and exploring the bunkai of this kata extensively students of Kobudo will develop a very solid foundation of the basics of Bojutsu, which can then be deeper expanded on in the subsequent kata.
