This setup is for a DC fireplace, so if you have DC, this should work. I used the Lutron Caseta switch (see description for link) because I have the Hub integrated into my HomeKit and my Alexa app as a Skill. This switch can now be triggered on or off from either Siri or Alexa and the wires route down to my gas fireplace into an electrical junction box (many gas fireplaces work this same way). Next, the trick is getting the transformer device from Amazon (link in the description). This is a dry contact device that translates AC to DC voltage through its built-in dry contact capability. If you slow and pause the video down, you can see how I connected the wires to the transformer, the wall outlet, and the gas valve connections.
