🎣 Jigging After the Set – Making the Most of a Tough Bite
After setting out our longline gear, we broke out the jigs and dropped into the zone. The bite was slow… but we stuck with it, worked the structure, and managed to put some quality fish on deck. This wasn’t the hottest jig bite we’ve ever had, but the footage tells a better story — with solid hooksets, rod-bending action, and a few surprises along the way.

Shot right off the Oregon coast and fished out of Port Orford — one of the last crane-launched ports in the country — every fish we catch goes live or fresh to market.
