This video shows how to get the Vault Guardian achievement by killing the secret vault boss in Scrivener's Hall. In order to fight the secret boss in the vault, ALL vault chests need to be opened in ONE RUN. this requires your group to have a combined amount of 20 small vault keys and 20 large vault keys. The small vault keys can be obtained by killing Cartoklepts in Normal Scrivener's Hall and the large vault keys can be obtained by killing Cartoklepts in Veteran Scrivener's Hall. You can get 2 keys per run, so in order to maximize your efficiency in completing this achievement your group needs to run normal AND veteran 3 times each ensuring each group member will have 6 of each key to open the all chests at the end. The keys are character bound so you need to do all the runs on the same character and are saved in your inventory. Once your group has saved a combined total of at least 20 small and 20 large keys you can open the chests in the vault at the end of your final run to summon the boss. The boss can be fought on normal, veteran or hard mode depending on which dungeon mode you ran and if you did the last main boss fight on hard mode or not. Killing the boss guarantees the treasure map that will grant you the new tool to drop. Otherwise it can drop randomly from either the large or small vault chests. Once you have the tool you can determine where the Cartoklepts are on each subsequent run without having to look for them by placing an icon on your map. Only one person needs to have the tool for the entire group to see the marked Cartokelpt's location.
