Wie geht das eigentlich mit der Thermik? What`s a thermal lift?

Es zeigt m.E. sehr gut, dass es immer eine Art Lotterie ist, ob man in der kurzen zeit, die man zur Verfügung hat, hoch kommt oder nicht. Insbesondere bei Wetterlagen mit viel Wind, der die Thermik zerreißt.
In my oppinion it shows very good the gambling to find a lift within the short time you have until you have to land again. Particularly if it is windy and the thermal lifts are blown together.
