Late. Vidwan shri Obu A Sherigar was a well known in Udupi as a saxophone , nadaswara and flute artist for more than five decades with his exceptional playing talent. His instrumental prowess was given a special luster by his service in the presence of Lord krishna in udupi as a permanent resident artist for almost 40 years.
Shri Obu sherigar was also a radio and television artist, has trained more than 50 students and dedicated them to the art field.
