The Cobra is a weapon that was added as a part of the second campaign DLC for Borderlands 2- Mister Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. It is a bolt action Jakobs sniper.

Prior to the community patch, this weapon was pretty abysmal, being one of the worst snipers for Zer0 to use, even compared to non unique variants.

The weapon gained a significant damage boost, as well as a fire rate boost as a part of the Borderlands 2 Unofficial Community Patch.

After these buffs, the weapon becomes much, much more viable at overpower level 8.
