Should you avoid Medicare insurance agents, or is this your chance to learn how to navigate the Medicare maze while getting the best price?

Medicare insurance agents can be helpful, friendly, kind, considerate. But there is a dark side. A side they don't want you to see. There are agents that like to prey on vulnerable seniors. They use creative ways to encourage you to buy things you don't need, don't want and can't afford.

They say things like, "This is the best plan on the market", "Rates are going up. You should buy now to avoid the increase.",

When looking online for Medicare, consider this . . .

You don't know if the website is owned by an agent (like mine https://www.gamedigaprates.com/)
or if it is a site designed to capture your information and sell it to about 50 agents. When that happens you will know immediately because your phone will ring and never stop.

Everyone that calls will PRESSURE you to buy something you don't want, don't need and can't afford. They will keep talking until you buy or hang up.

Making matters worse, even if you DO buy, your phone will continue to ring until those other 49 agents get tired of calling.

So don't give out your REAL number to one of those bandit sites unless you want a bunch of phone call.

Information on my site, https://www.gamedigaprates.com/ is NEVER sold, I usually wait a few days to call and I only call ONCE. Nothing happens after that until YOU indicate you want more information.

If an agent REFUSES to answer your questions on the phone, says he/she CANNOT email you information, and INSISTS the only way to get information is to come to your home, say no thank you and hang up.

Agents are not REQUIRED to come to your home. Anything you need and want to know CAN be handled by phone or email.

Of course you can always bypass the agent and go direct to the insurance carrier. You dial an 800, the phone is answered by a computer then you are routed to voice mail.

No worries, someone will call you back in a few days while you are in the shower.

How much fun is that?

If you do get to talk with someone they can only tell you which plans they have. Even if they know about other carriers that might have better choices, they are NOT ALLOWED to tell you.

If you want a Toyota you can't go to a Ford dealer and ask how Toyota's are better than Fords. Life doesn't work that way.
