HipStar HD. UNPACKING and ASSEMBLING (new brackets)

The video represents assembling HipStar HD and newly redesigned brake brackets.

A comment on the HD assembly video from a cyclist’s/bike mechanic’s perspective:

Adjusting mechanical disk brakes – rather than adjusting the alignment just by eye x after loosening the crews (video from 0:56), squeeze the brake lever to keep the brake applied while tightening the screws. It centers the brake. If there is then still some rub, make small adjustments visually.

Tip: put a thin piece of plastic or folded paper/cardboard on either side between the disk and calipers before applying the brake and tightening the screws. It gives more tolerance in the brake.
