It is not my intention to ruin anyones favorite unit or to impose any style onto the original content or create nightmare fuel. This is merely an experiment on if and how AI image generators could be used to revive some of the games we all enjoyed.

One of the AI problems atm are artwork & style inconsitency and generation of weird artefacts. This can be reduced with more precise prompting and negative prompts. Since homm3 is using sprite animation for graphics, in theory it would be possible to rework the artstyle using AI only, especially since the video AI is coming into play with gen-2 and platforms like runwayml.com

Using Krea.ai to re-imagine and upscale Homm3 pixel graphics

Upscaling images from about 85x115px to 640x860px using 0.7 upscale factor
