Abstract— In this work, the proponent modelled the Internet of Things
Based Smart Health Care Monitoring and Tracking System using
MATLAB Simulink. In simulating a temperature control system, the
proponent uses PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) for Matlab-SIMULINK based real-time temperature control modelling, Simulink-PS converter to convert the input Simulink signal into a physical
signal, using thermal libraries such as Ideal temperature source,
Thermal reference, and Ideal temperature sensor for getting
temperature before converting it to Simulink signal using PS-Simulink
converter. The system also gets the pulse rate using a bandpass filter
to pass pulse frequencies, a differentiator filter to differentiate all its
frequency components, and a QRS Detection block to detect peaks of
the filtered ECG signal in real-time if the temperature is abnormal the
temperature and pulse rate value will become 1 that defines a critical
rate. The proponents modelled a microcontroller to set parameters in
the Based Smart Health Care Monitoring and Tracking System.
