We can use Owner password to set a password-protected option called printing in order to prevent, restrict or lock a PDF from being printed. This is achieved by editing PDF permissions. This way, you can prevent printing PDF files using command P or the menu bar's Print option. When it's set, in order to print, the used owner-password is required.
