The new “Smart Travel” system allows passengers to clear immigration in as little as seven seconds using biometric verification and smart gates, cutting down wait times dramatically.

In 2024, over 29 million passengers passed through Abu Dhabi’s airports — and this new agreement ensures the emirate can meet growing global demand while enhancing efficiency and security.
