Описание к видео June 1, 2022 LiSIUM double webinar on light-sheet history, preparation, and clarity

This webinar we will cover the history of Lightsheet microscopy and explain why the most common implementation is not an upright or inverted microscope, but a horizontal microscope.

Variations of sample mounting techniques will be presented, and the relative pros and cons discussed. The example images and sample mounting will cover both live cell imaging as well as imaging of cleared samples.

The presenter Chris Power joined Carl Zeiss in 2004 to help bring the Lightsheet technology to market. He has imaged a wide range of samples and would be happy to answer any questions or concerns about sample mounting during the Q&A.

Ramon Ramirez will present a seminar on clarity in Spanish. This will serve as the theoretical lesson for the hands-on session coming up.
