Part-2 Roopkund to Dodang via Junargalli| Mysterious Lake| Roopkund - Ronti Guide|1080P|

The trek follows the Nandakini River and takes us through the villages of Sutol and Tatra to enter the deep forests of Lata Khopri to reach the moraines of Sila Samudra and the peculiar campsite of Dodang. The name Sila Samudra translates to 'Sea of Rocks' and is given to the glacier coming down from the mighty Trishul. If there is some noise in this valley, it is of the frequent ice breaking and falling down from Trishul, feeding the Sia Samudra glacier.

Ronti Saddle Trek – a saddle between the Himalayan peaks of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul. The trek offers grand views of Nanda Ghungti(6309 mtr), Trisul I (7120 mtr), II (6690 mtr), III (6007 mtr) mountauns.

The Route of Ronti Saddle Trek passes through the trail of roopkund. Roopkund, comes on the fourth day of this trek. The trek further continues via Ronti Saddle & Channia ghat to end in Sithail. One will experience the best bugyals or meadows of Bedni and Ali. the seren view of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul

Climbing on snow to the Roopkund lake is a heart-pounding thrill. The beautiful Mt Trishul looms over the setting getting closer as you climb higher when at a ridge above Roopkund, only air separates the trekker from them and Trishul.
Roopkund Trekking trail is famous for the celebration of the Nanda Devi Raj Jat, takes place once every twelve years at Roopkund.
During which Goddess Nanda Devi is worshipped. The famous Nanda Devi lies near to the lake. Similarly, one can spot the snow leopards, Himalayan black bear, Chi pheasants and notice the myriads flower all along the trek.
The Roopkund lake, said to have more than 300 skeletons of a king and his villagers. They were struck by a blizzard, when they were travelling to Nanda Devi.

while going to Roopkund Trek, one can visit Bedni Bugiyal and Ali Bugiyal.
