LEAK-PROOF Quadrajet Well Plugs

Описание к видео LEAK-PROOF Quadrajet Well Plugs

According to the manufacturer and Quadrajet experts, four-barrel carburetors built before 1975 had leaking primary and secondary well plugs (plus a couple of other spots).

The best way to take care of this issue is with fuel-impervious epoxy or, ideally, with mechanical plugs.

I have had excellent results using epoxy in the past. But set screws for the primary wells and new aluminum plugs with O-rings for the secondary wells are the better, long-term option.

This video shows how I installed 10-32 set screws for the primary wells after drilling out the factory plugs. The best time to do this upgrade or repair is during a complete carburetor rebuild.

I hope you find this video helpful.

Thank you for watching! 🙂👍🏻
