SocialMention.com is a website that accumulates content from around the web that's generated by users across a vast number of web platforms. This content is then analyzed, organized and displayed into specific categories and measures. This kind of information is useful for marketers, bloggers, and product managers who want to strategize the promotion of their products and services by analyzing a lot of social media platforms all in one place.

To use SocialMention's platform, just type in a subject or keyword into the search box. You can choose to search a specific category of the internet by clicking the dropdown arrow and choosing the appropriate option. You can also choose to search only specific social media sources by clicking the link under the search box and choosing an option. When you finish, click "search".

On the results page, the middle panel will display different posts by users in list format. Each post shows data including the platform used at the top.

SocialMention analyzes keywords in each post and displays different calculations in the left column. Each bar indicates the amount of data that was found specific to each term. The four boxes at the top show different calculations. For instance, "Sentiment" is the ratio of positive to negative posts found for the keyword you entered. You can hover your cursor over a box to see how it's calculated.
