At the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, Florida, veterans have discovered powerful new paths to recovery through creative arts therapy. One of the first sites in the Creative Forces® network, the hospital offers music, dance/movement, and art therapy to support veterans—especially those living with traumatic brain injuries and PTSD.

In collaboration with the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, veterans bring their healing journeys into the community through live performances that provide opportunities for continued growth and creative expression. This film shares the inspiring stories of three creative arts therapists and the veterans they’ve helped, revealing how the arts can go beyond traditional medicine to transform lives.
