After a heart-stopping near collision on this flight, I knew I had a serious lesson to learn. This video documents my journey back into the air at one of the most stunning locations in Singapore.

In this flight, my drone came dangerously close to a building I wasn't aware of. It was a terrifying moment that served as a powerful reminder of why pre-flight checks and situational awareness are not optional.

I chose a new location with a clear purpose: the breathtaking Gardens By The Bay at Marina South. I've always wanted to fly here, and after scouting the area, I took the train directly to the Gardens By The Bay MRT station, which provides a perfect launch point with a clear view of both the iconic Marina Bay Sands and the majestic Supertrees.

My key learning objective for this flight was to practice various cinematic filming techniques while prioritizing safety. I meticulously checked the allowable drone flying zones.

The weather was a bit cloudy, which gave me a unique opportunity to test my skills. For my first flight, I went without any ND filter. Then, for the second part, I attached an ND16 filter to experiment with the difference. It was clear that the ND16 filter provided a very cinematic view, even with the overcast sky!
