The Queen City Improvement Bureau gets a visit from Jon & Kelly from the Queen City Urbanist Bookclub. It was a delightful conversation. And super informative. We discuss the city building books they recommend then run through some concerns & some reasons for optimism with the new city council.

From their office by the secondary boiler in a subbasement beneath city hall, the Queen City Improvement Bureau facilitates improvements in the City of Regina's vibrancy, attractiveness, sustainability and community. The QCIB's departmental target is a municipality in which citizens maximize harmony and thrive optimally in opportunity. In other words, it's time to Feel the Improvement. The QCIB realizes its community outreach mandate by broadcasting its weekly meetings Thursdays at 7pm (& rebroadcast Mondays at 3pm) on 91.3 FM CJTR, Regina's Community Radio.
