The 2021 Toyota HiLux has earned its reputation for toughness out here in Australia, but Toyota have been steadily increasing the price of this workhorse ute for years. In fact, this relatively spartan HiLux SR Extra Cab 4x4 is almost $50,000 on the road. But is it worth it? With new market entrants like the GWM Ute as well as budget options like the Mitsubishi Triton keeping the HiLux honest, we look at whether this pick-up stacks up.
