PE 770 Embroidery Machine Service

Описание к видео PE 770 Embroidery Machine Service

I bought this machine form buttercupbabyppg. She indeed had it serviced before, and it’s in fine running condition, just a few things needed to be tweaked. Apparently the people servicing didn’t think too much of it to remove the thread and bobbin I found in the bottom. I removed the thread with a hobby knife and needle nose pliers. Also, it’s worth noting that in this video I forgot some snaps on the bottom that didn’t quite make the plastic flush on the right side of the machine. So many snaps! ^^;

However, it was still running loudly compared to my new one, which bothered me. It turns out that the bobbin cartridge material (some bakelite material) was rubbing dry against the metal housing that rotates around it. Some 3 in 1 oil quietened it significantly. But it still made another plastic clack type sound at higher speeds that bothered me, being loud among other things. It was actually the main knob on the side which had become loose. It’s a snap-on, so I just pulled it off the shaft, arranged a narrow, once folder strip of paper across the hole where the shaft fits into, the put it back on the shaft, the paper folding over the shaft and making a tighter fit for the knob. Now it actually runs quieter than my original machine! XD
