In 2018, SIEMAG TECBERG Australia (formerly known as WINDER CONTROLS Australia) was engaged by Glencore to design, deliver and commission a SIL2 compliant Single Drum Winder System for Shaft No1 at CSA Cobar Mine. With a drum diameter of 4.3 m and a payload of 8t, the winder hoists the attached conveyance from a depth of 1,020 m.
