JJM 22 Shawn Williams - Nearside Under Hook Pass.

Описание к видео JJM 22 Shawn Williams - Nearside Under Hook Pass.

Renzo Gracie third degree black belt, Shawn Williams demonstrates how to use a nearside under hook pass. This pass is rarely used, but can take your opponent out of their game if done correctly. Shawn was inspired by BJ Penn's use of this pass, has trained with GSP (George St. Pierre), and GSP used this successfully in his fight against Penn. About Shawn:
Around 1998/1999, by mistake, Shawn Williams discovered that he could better control opponents while in a High Guard/Rubber Guard position in which the fighter makes a framed grip underneath his own leg (between his knee and opponents shoulder). The move was later named the "Williams Guard". He is the head instructor at 5 Star Martial Arts in Los Angeles, CA.
