Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC-Kozhikode) is an autonomous institution for the differently-abled persons, functioning under the Department of Disability Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. CRC-K is functioning as the apex institute for Kerala and Lakshadweep, having tripartite functions of
* Clinical services
* Human Resource Development (RCI approved Long term and Short term courses in the field of Disabilities) and
* Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), which includes Skill training for PwDs, awareness creation, training, liaison with Govts, LSGDs, NGOs, etc.

We at CRC-K are providing:-
Comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, educational and vocational services to PwDs.
Central Government schemes and projects for the benefit of the differently-abled like the ADIP free aids and appliances distribution programme, Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID), etc, are being implemented through CRC-K.
CRC-K is relentlessly striving towards the goal of the empowerment of persons with disabilities and has implemented unique projects like ‘’Zero budget mega Disability Medical Board Certificate issuance initiative’’ and the mega ‘’Adhaar Citizen Identity card issuance campaign’’ along with the State Administration which had fetched international acclaim and national recognitions.
CRC-K is functioning under the administrative umbrella of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities(NIEPMD), Chennai.

Persons with Disabilities can avail of the clinical services of CRC-K on all central Government working days from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM.
We provide both Centre Based clinical services and Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) services.
