The latest brew day and review, this one is a West Coast IPA or pale ale inspired beer following a basic brew in a bag mash bill with two pretty true to style hops and one not so true but sometimes you have to use what you have to save any waste. I was really pleased with how this one turned out, it's refreshing and light but with some of those west coast style flavours like pine, citrus and tropical notes. I think the hero of this particular brew is the grains used in the mash because they really carry the hops and act as a great base, I'll definitely brew again...

Recipe -

15 litre brew

60 min mash / 60 min boil
1kg Vienna malt
1kg Maris otter pale

Cascade and Columbus hops at 60 mins
Cascade and Columbus hops at 30 mins
Cascade, Columbus & Nelson Sauvin at 10 mins
Nelson and Cascade dry hop

Kviek yeast
