Paragliding Training with Matt Minyard - Oludeniz Turkey

Join me as I share my experience attending another advanced SIV (Simulation in Flight) training for paragliding! Enjoy the thrilling moments, as I push myself to my limits to enhance my flying skills, and reflect on how this training has transformed my approach to paragliding.

SIV training is designed to help pilots understand their glider's behavior at the edges of its flight envelope. It focuses on safety maneuvers, including dealing with collapses, stalls, and other critical situations that can occur while flying. The training is conducted over water with safety boats on standby, ensuring a controlled environment for learning.

This incredible opportunity took place in Oludeniz, Turkey where I made it my goal to come home a better paragliding pilot than when I left. Within a short time of my arrival, I had the pleasure of meeting world class paraglider and instructors, Mr. Matt Minyard who graciously offered to work with me through some flights and advanced maneuvers. 8 days and many flights later, I feel I can confidently say mission accomplished! I am a better paragliding pilot today than when I first arrived in Oludeniz, Turkey!
