I'll show you how I replaced both of the struts on my 2012 Dodge Journey without needing to remove the back seats in full or any plastic trim. You will need to cut an access hole, but it will be below the seat and never seen. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube if you want to it the "right way", but this is for those of you looking for a quick and easy shortcut.
