3 Simple Tips To Improve Your Serve: TENNIS LESSON

Описание к видео 3 Simple Tips To Improve Your Serve: TENNIS LESSON

Jeff Salzenstein reveals three simple tips to improve your contact point position on your tennis serve. These are cutting edge tips that can help you understand the serve at a deeper level. Many tennis players are facing the net and bending over while making contact with the ball on the tennis serve.

In fact, their upper body is collapsing at the contact point and this is hindering their ability to serve more like the pros. You can fix this common mistake by focusing on your serve fundamentals and practicing the three tips described above.

First, Jeff recommends using a platform stance to efficiently coil, turn, and load on your tennis serve. In fact, the less that you turn, the more that you’ll face the net at contact.

Second, Jeff suggests being sideways, at a 45 degree angle towards the net post, when making contact on your serve. He also advises leading with your elbow and chest as you go up to the ball, and keeping up your head longer after making contact.

Third, you can focus on side bending instead of rotating and collapsing at contact. This is an advanced concept, but it can dramatically improve your tennis serve technique.

Finally, Jeff shares a bonus drill that consists of hopping three times after landing and finishing your service motion. This serve drill will help you to become aware of your posture and enable you to serve bigger and better.

Consider practicing these valuable tips to serve like the pros and take your tennis game to a new level. Additionally, work on your core strength and stability off the court to maximise your chances to transform your serve.
