Complete disassemble Moto G2 in 3 minutes – Teardown Manual

Tear down steps and tips:
0:06 Step 1 Power off
0:08 Step 2 Remove back cover (It is easy to remove from the charging port by fingernail or guitar pick.)
0:14 Step 3 Remove 14 torx screws by T5 torx screwdriver. (Tips: The screws come in two sizes. Don’t mix up them.)
0:19 Step 4 Remove back housing (It can be removed easily after releasing screws.)
0:25 Step 5 Take away power and volume buttons (So easy)
0:30 Step 6 Remove battery & SD card & motor flex assembly
(The card reader flex is combined with battery by copper oil. The battery is fixed tightly by two adhesive tab. Correctly pull them out; it is easily to remove the battery. )
1:17 Step 7 Separate SIM&SD card flex with motor from battery (Adhesive locate under both sides of the card reader flex part.)
1:37 Step 8 Remove motherboard assembly (The motherboard is fixed by torx screws and some connectors without any hidden key. Release them; it is easy to take away motherboard.)
2:10 Step 9 Remove signal cable (Repair tips: If you want to replace broken signal cable, you don’t have to tear down both battery and motherboard. You can replace it directly after tear down the back housing.)
2:18 Step 10 Remove rear camera
2:29 Step 11 Take away front camera (After removing motherboard, you will find the front camera is free. Remove it easily.)
2:34 Step 12 Remove sensor flex ( It is fixed by a little adhesive.)
2:41 Step 13 Remove earpiece speaker (Repair tips: If you want to replace broken speaker, you don’t have to tear down both battery and motherboard. You can replace it directly after tear down the back housing.)
