Battery:
Zhiyun Smooth Q holds a built-in battery which allows 12 hours of working time. A micro USB port at the side of the grip supports supports power input via power bank. That way you can extend operational time. On the back is a USB port which you can use to power your phone or action cam.

Payload: 220g.

Pan / Tilt / Roll – Angle
The gimbal allows 360° rotation on the pan axis,
320° on the tilt axis.

Buttons & Controls
The control panel provides a flat joystick to control the head. Next to it are power button, zoom lever and function button.

Shooting Modes
You can use Smooth Q to stabilize your phone horizontally or vertically – in portrait or landscape mode.

Mounting
You can mount Zhiyun Smooth Q on a tripod as a 1/4″ standard photo thread is integrated at the bottom.

Special Feature:
When using Zhiyun ZY Play App (for iOS & Android) on your Smartphone you can enable Face & Object Tracking. Mark any object on your screen, which will be tracked during a movement and the gimbal’s head will follow automatically.

Compatibility:
Zhiyun Smooth Q is compatible with a huge variety of smartphones including Apple iPhone (up to iPhone 7 including Plus versions), Samsung, Huawei, Sony,… There is no specific list from Zhiyun which phones are compatible, I was told up to 6 inch screen size and max. 220g in weight.
As for action cameras you have to adapt the the phone bracket to portrait mode, then most action cameras incl. GoPro models, YI 4K, SJCAM, EKEN, Firefly,... will fit.
