Hey! This was a lot of fun to think through.

Interestingly, I chose US Army soldiers as opposed to US Marines because the Marines recently changed weapons. They've moved to the M27 IAR as their baseline. This essentially puts a mini SAW in the hands of every single Marine, but they no longer have access to as much 7.62. Good against humans, not good against Adeptus Astartes.

I didn't get too much into the Space Marine loadout, however the bolter makes things interesting. According to every number I could find, they're relatively shot ranged. At most 200 yards. So they'd need to close in to even start doing damage.
