French President Emmanuel Macron arrives in Mumbai for a three-day official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders meet for bilateral discussions, reviewing the India-France strategic partnership and exploring cooperation in emerging sectors. On 17th February, they jointly launch the India-France Year of Innovation 2026, a key initiative under the Horizon 2047 roadmap. The program aims to foster collaboration in defense, space, energy, climate, AI, green technologies, digital innovation, startups, and higher education.
