National Youth Day South Africa | Education Matters | FuseSchool

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

Sacrifices are made by the youth of our time. People lay down their lives for the sake of freedom. June 16th 1976 was the first day of what came to be called the Soweto Uprising. Students stood up against a discriminatory and oppressive education system.

The creator of FuseSchool was told by a South African to "look at how Apartheid was ended, it wasn't because the ANC was so powerful. It was because THE REVOLUTION STARTED WITH THE KIDS."

We should not, by a slightest of chance, lose sight of our once ambitious dream for education, total economic participation, democracy and freedom for all.
