In this video, Lindsey Shepard introduces us to the WLS28-2 UV LED Strip Light.

These lights have sturdy aluminum housings, shatterproof windows, and impressive environmental ratings, making them a cost-effective operator inspection light or machine vision light to improve and enhance contrast in UV fluorescent and non-florescent applications.

The WLS28-2 Strip lights are available as either stand-alone models or as cascade models that can be daisy chained together for a continuous length of lighting with minimum wiring.

These lights feature a low profile and space-saving design making them an ideal option for many industrial applications.

Non-sealed IP50 models have 3 options for switching, no switch, high low off switch or pulse width modulation dimming. The PWM models can be used for strobed operation. The IP50 models are available with a UV wavelength of 395 nanometers and 4 lighted lengths including 285mm. 570mm, 850mm, and 1130mm. These models come with a clear glass window.

The sealed IP69k models come as either a non-switch model or a Pulse with Modulation model. They are available in either a UV 365nanometer or UV 395 nanometer wavelength. The UV 365 models are available in 2 lengths, 285mm and 570mm where the UV 395 models are available in 4 lengths from 285mm up to 1130mm. 3 glass window options are available. Clear acrylic, clear glass or a 25 degree lensed window.

Each light has Automatic temperature protection built into the unit. The light dims to manage heat and protect product lifetime when temperatures exceed 50 degrees Celsius.
