Описание к видео K40 Laser Putting the Automated Z Bed together (fixed audio)

In this video I show how to put the Motorized Z-bed together.

See this video on how to build the corner rods
   • K40 Laser - Corner Rods

And how to add an end stop
   • K40 Laser - Added end stop to Z-bed

And the first run of the final result
   • K40 Laser - First try of motorized Z-bed

The designs for the 3D printed parts and a part list and more detailed instructions can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:305... or here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/...

Not really part of this video but people have been asking for more information:

The controller used in my K40 is a Cohesion 3D LaserBoard (https://cohesion3d.com/shop/controlle..., a drop-in replacement for the board that comes with the K40. Expensive perhaps but the original controller is pretty crap. Other controllers probably work just as well, I don't know, I haven't tried.
The way I connected the Z-bed to the board was by following these instructions: https://cohesion3d.com/knowledgebase/...
I also installed a Raspberry Pi right next to the LaserBoard and connected the two.
On the Raspberry Pi I installed LaserWeb (https://laserweb.yurl.ch/) which made my K40 remotely controllable.
