If you're going to have a channel it's important that you have a steady stream of ideas because if you don't then you won't be making videos for very long.

Because of this, it's extremely helpful to know the simple things you can do to come up with ideas for YouTube videos on a consistent basis.

The tools I use to come up with video topics:

1. Google keyword planner will give you suggestions on whatever video topic you're interested in.

2. Google trends will show you what people are interested in right now.

3. Google and YouTube auto-complete will list video ideas for you as you start typing in any topic you're interested in.

4. News websites and publications in your niche.

5. Other YouTube channels in your niche.
