Curious how a foundation wall is replaced on a 110 year old wood frame house? I'm documenting this project week by week. When we purchased our home in 2019, we had no idea one of the walls had water and termite damage and was causing the south side of our house to sink.

Signs such as a space between the floor boards and moulding and our bathroom door scraping along the floor was our house's way of telling us it needed help.

We called Atlas Restoration in Chicago. They carefully planned and engineered a way to replace the foundation wall while letting us live at home during the project.
