I tried building an Assassin’s Creed Hidden Blade from scratch… and along the way I literally set myself on fire. This is by far the hardest project I’ve ever attempted.

In this video I show the entire process of making a DIY Hidden Blade, starting with a 3D printed design, cutting and shaping steel parts, experimenting with springs, elastic bands, stoppers and plates, and finally testing it out. After weeks of trial and error, the hidden blade finally works (kind of). It locks open, it locks closed, and it slices through apples and Coke cans with ease.
