How to Collect Mushroom Spores | Spore Print & Swab

It is important that mushroom spores are collected in the proper way to avoid contamination and increase success. Damp Rid crystals absorb moisture from the mushroom cap and keep the spore print dry which is essential for storage and for creating spore syringes.

Spore Swabs are usually for varieties that don't drop many spores or are difficult to obtain.
