Range Rover P38 (2000) heated seat repair.

This isn’t a “how to” video. I’m sure there will be more methodical ways to carry out this sort of repair.

The heated seat didn’t work for some time, it’s a common issue on these cars. The wire heating element tends to break on the base.

In this video I reassemble the seat. As some of the material in the base is worn I was unable to secure it fully with the hog rings. It will have to do me for now until I can sort a replacement.
This particular repair was successful. The components for the wire repair can be bought online as well as hog rings and pliers and thermostat.

Once the backrest was fitted I ran the cables in the wrong location. I rectified this off camera.
