The Boom lake to mount Bell trail is a moderate hiking trail. The round trip is about 18 km, elevation gain is about 1650 m. It took us about 11 hours to complete the hike. Usually the hiking can be finished within 8 hours, but we made some mistakes on the hike this time. On the way up before submitting, we went up too early on the right side, where huge rocks blocked the way to the submit in the left. This costed us about 45 minutes extra time to turn back to the right direction. Other than this, on the way back we choose to go down from the first gully right under the submit. This ended up being a bad choice because although the gully led us to Boom lake right away, but we had to go through about 1.5 km thick bushwhacking and that was very time consuming.

Although it was a bit challenging, this hike was so amazing! Boom lake was stanning under the sun. You may explore with us together through this video, and hopefully after you finish watching, you will decide to hike on this trail yourself!
