Puppy training - Little legs Merlin heads out walking, without big sister Oti as back up!

For those following Merlin's progress you'll see that he really is being a super little Worgie!

I really must put more work into both my dogs separately though - just one outdoor training session and several at home a week isn't enough, we really need far more separate walks too.

Oti and Merlin had a lovely mad run together earlier in the day, so this walk was a great chance for some training - 2 paws, go round, moving aside for runners and cyclists, loose lead walking, meeting swans and dogs!
We also started a stop cue, but I lost the video 😬🤦🤣

The move aside cue can be a great one for any dog inclined to be 'herdy' - give them a different job to do and be rewarded for when seeing cyclists/runners rather than chasing becoming habit.
I do the same with sheep - spot a sheep on the moors and come alert me, you'll get lots of praise for that!
