RG Kar Medical College Doctors Demand Comprehensive Action & Reforms Following Rape-Murder Incident

A junior doctor from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata has articulated the demands of the medical community in the wake of the tragic rape and murder incident. They are calling for the arrest of the culprits with evidence and an official press release from the CBI. The demands include the resignation of several higher authorities, including the former Principal, and a ban on them holding any administrative positions. The doctor also called for an explanation from the Shastra Bhawan regarding the reinstatement of the former Principal. Additionally, the junior doctors are asking for lifelong support for the victim's family, enhanced workplace security measures, and strict action against the digital defamation and unauthorized sharing of the victim's photos on social media. They also demand the resignation of current officials responsible for the inadequate response to a mob attack at the hospital.
