The JBL Charge 1 still exchanges hands for decent money on ebay so I thought id have another look at an old friend.
The Charge 1 had an advertised frequency range of 150Hz – 20kHz, 38mm drivers and 2x5 watts of power. The Charge 3 offers twice the power, 50mm drivers and a frequency range of 65hz -20khz. Even the Flip 3 on paper kills the charge 1. Have a listen and see how it holds up.
